EFT-POS SWITCH IS DESIGNED TO ALLOW YOUR EFT-POS DEVICE TO SHARE AN EXISTING VOICE, FAX, MODEM, PABX OR PAYPHONE LINE.

• Save Unnecessary Monthly Rental Costs

• Save Unnecessary New Line Installation Costs

• Ideal for businesses that use an EFT-POS device on an occasional basis.

• Can also be used with your Commander, Key-Phone, PABX

  or other Multi-Line telephone.

EFT-POS SWITCH has been designed to allow an occasionally used EFT-POS device to share an existing Voice, Fax, Modem or Payphone line. This will save the installation and ongoing rental costs associated with operating a separate telephone line.

EFT-POS SWITCH will not affect the normal operation of the telephone line that it is connected to. Incoming and outgoing telephone calls will take place exactly as they always have.

EFT-POS SWITCH will automatically connect your EFT-POS device to the telephone line as soon as it has been activated by the user, (providing the line is not in use) so that it can process the transaction.

An EXCLUSION FACILITY is provided to ensure that any other attached telephone device(s) can not interfere (‘Barge-In ) on the EFT-POS device while it is processing a transaction. If the telephone line is already in use when the EFT-POS device attempts to initiate a transaction, it will be blocked from the line and will not be allowed access to the line until the line is free.

EFT-POS SWITCH can be used with ANY pabx, Commander or Multi Line Telephone System. This is done by connecting the TELEPHONE LINE port of the unit direct to an incoming telephone line, prior to the system controller. The PRIMARY DEVICE port is then connected to your Multi Line Telephone System. The EFT-POS SWITCH port is then connected to the EFT-POS device.

EFT-POS SWITCH can be used with ANY PABX, Commander or Multi Line Telephone System that uses normal incoming PSTN lines (cannot be used with incoming ISDN lines). This is done by connecting the TELEPHONE LINE port of the unit direct to an incoming telephone line, prior to the system controller. The PRIMARY DEVICE port is then connected to your Multi Line Telephone System. The EFT-POS DEVICE port is then connected to the Accessory Telephone device.

Save on Monthly Rental Costs (typically $35.00 per month).

Save on New Line Installation Costs (typically $200 per installation).
